3D RESIN DOMED DECALS
Domed decals are conventional, flat decals that have been printed and cut which then have a 2 part resin flowed onto them. This resin spreads out the to the edges of the decal, where it stops and remains there under its own surface tension.
These are then put into a low temperature oven where the resin cures. The cured resin forms a clear, high gloss, three dimensional, self-healing dome on the face of the decal, adding a premium finish which sets them apart from conventional stickers.
UNIQUE FINISH & EFFECTS
When combined with our printed special effects and/or one of the many speciality films that we use, the 3D doming helps create unique decals with a prestige finish. Some of these speciality films include:-
• Metallic foils - silver chrome, gold or rose chrome, etc
• Metallics and brushed metallics
• Metalflakes & carbon-fibre
• Wood, stone & marble effect
• Reflectives, fluorescents & phosphorescents
OUR FULLY AUTOMATED 3 AXIS DOMING SYSTEM
It would have been significantly easier and cheaper to install a manual doming system, but ultimately it is impossible to match the speed, the quality and the repeatability of the quality that an automated system provides. We have partnered with the industry’s leading manufacturer and installed their state of the art, 3 axis automated doming system.
